Stichting Thinking Forest Foundation
Stichting Thinking Forest Foundation was founded on May 23, 2023 and is
located at Heining 3, 1047 AZ Amsterdam. RSIN: 865263644. Chamber of Commerce:
90277147. Funds will be raised in 2023 for the realization of the 2024 program. Artistic director is Gerbrand Burger. The
foundation endorses the Culture Governance Code. The capital to help achieve
its objective is obtained from subsidies, donations, bequests and legacies, and
all other benefits to be obtained.
Goal
The Foundation aims to promote and
facilitate national and international art projects, artistic expressions and
events in relation to nature, ecology and forestry, in accordance with the
artistic ideas and vision of artist Gerbrand Burger, and furthermore all that
in the broadest sense with one and other related, belongs thereto and/or can be
conducive thereto. The Foundation tries to achieve its goal by, among other
things, establishing a focused and high-quality cultural program that
highlights the unity of man and nature, as well as all other
activities that can contribute to the realization of the goal.
Management
Since its foundation, the board has
consisted of Marjolein van der Loo (chairman), Jorgen Karskens (treasurer) and
Tom Helmer (secretary). An Advisory Board has been set up, consisting of Pieter
Ligthart, Emma Johnson, Winfred Voordendag, Reyn van der Lugt and Ute
Sass-Klaassen.
Remuneration Policy
The board receives no remuneration for its activities. The Thinking Forest
Foundation does not employ any staff. Hired personnel are paid a competitive rate, taking into account the

ANBI status
The foundation does everything in its power to
continue to meet the requirements for the ANBI status. Checking the requirements
and the necessary actions to meet these requirements are put on the agenda once
a year.
